Sucralfate 1gm + Oxetacaine 20mg

Purpose of sucralfate in "Tacid-O"

• Reacts with gastric acid to form a long acting acid buffer for as long as 6 to 8 hours after a single dose.
• It also attaches to proteins on the surface of ulcer forming protective barrier at the ulcer surface, preventing further damage from acid, pepsin & bile.
• Useful in the treatment of gastric and duodenal ulcer, it is cytoprotective & able to increase the bioavailability of several growth factors, modulating the wound healing process.

Purpose of 'Oxetacaine' in "Tacid-O"
